Mercy Street named DISD Outstanding Partner

Mercy Street was honored last week as the Outstanding Partner Organization with DISD for our work with Edison Middle School. As part of the regularly scheduled board meeting, Dr. Hinojosa and the board of trustees presented Mercy Street founder, Trey Hill, and Edison Mentor Coordinators, Mindy and Garrett Smith with the award.

The award is really a testimony to our mentors though. Without each of our mentors making an investment in the life of a child this award would not have been possible. Thanks to everyone for all you do to serve our community. The difference you are making is being noticed. Though we certainly do not do what we do for awards or recognition, this was a nice honor.
