Mercy Street is supported by the generosity of many donors, both large and small. We are thankful for every dollar given to support the Mercy Street mission of community transformation by engaging in mutually-transforming relationships with the future leaders of West Dallas. Here are a few specific ways you can support us:

Mercy Street 500

The Mercy Street 500 is an effort to create a more diverse income stream of small monthly donations to ensure the long-term health of Mercy Street’s ministry. The goal of the Mercy Street 500 is to have 500 new donors giving an average of $500 per year through small monthly donations between $25 and $100 by the running of the Indy 500 on Memorial Day 2011. Below are examples of how your small monthly donations will have an impact:

  • $25 monthly   A student's league fees, uniforms, and equipment to play baseball, soccer, and karate
  • $25 monthly   A mentor and student’s participation in every monthly event
  • $35 monthly   Your student’s camp fees for one week of summer camp at Kids Across America or Pine Cove
  • $50 monthly   Snacks for 80 kids at our weekly Vision Life Bible Club
  • $50 monthly   A new computer for a seasoned mentor coordinator
  • $100 monthly Major monthly event like a TCU football game or our annual fall kickoff at Bahama Beach

Not only does each small monthly donation make a big impact, the collective impact of this campaign is a significant, steady, reliable and necessary $250,000 stream of income for Mercy Street! This sustainable income stream is vital for us to achieve our 20-year vision of raising up 2,672 leaders to make a positive, permanent change in West Dallas through its children. Help ensure the long-term health and vitality of Mercy Street’s ministry by joining the Mercy Street 500.
